Job Description
There’s currently an ongoing recruitment for a passionate and goal-oriented individuals who would be interested and able to work as a Storekeeper in the country.
As a Storekeeper, you will be responsible for the management and overseeing of the inventory and storage of goods in a retail or warehouse environment. You’ll play a crucial role in maintaining efficient operations and ensuring that the store has the necessary stock levels to meet customer demand.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of goods
- Unload, unpack, and organize products or materials in designated storage areas
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory records by properly labeling and categorizing items
- Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and recorded quantities.
- Monitor stock levels and initiate purchase orders to replenish inventory as needed.
- Coordinate with suppliers or vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Maintain a clean and organized storage area
- Prepare and package products for delivery or shipment
- Inspect and maintain the condition of stored goods
- Keep track of inventory movement, including transfers, returns, and stock adjustments.
- Perform all other assigned duties accordingly
