Job Description

As an OTR truck driver, your primary responsibility will be to transport goods across long distances, typically across state lines or even nationwide. You will operate heavy-duty trucks, ensuring the safe and timely delivery of goods to their destinations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Transport goods and materials over long distances
- Adhering to delivery schedules and designated routes.
- Safely operate and maintain large commercial vehicles
- Ensuring proper loading, unloading, and securing of cargo.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery information
- Effectively communicate with dispatchers, customers, and warehouse personnel.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Identify potential mechanical issues and report to the appropriate authority
- Perform all other assigned duties accordingly
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid CDL Driving License
- Good and safe driving record
