Job Description

As a Cashier, you will be responsible for the processing customer transactions, handling payments, and providing excellent customer service at a point of sale.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet customers and assist them with their purchases
- Accurately scan and record items using a cash register or point-of-sale system
- Calculate and collect payments from customers, including cash, credit cards, or electronic payments
- Issue receipts, refunds, or change accurately
- Maintain a neat and organized cash register area
- Resolve customer complaints or concerns regarding payments or pricing discrepancies
- Keep track of inventory levels and inform the appropriate personnel when stocks need replenishment
- Adhere to customer service standards and provide friendly and efficient service
- Perform all other assigned duties accordingly
